I know what is in my Koran

This dialog I heard again in a film. I remember love. Once I bought a book of poem by Hafiz and gave it to ... I read some but I did not enjoy that much but I like stories of Hafiz. He was fetched by Taimur Lung, the lame butcher since he felt his soldiers were reading Hafiz. Soldiers are supposed to fight and not waste time with love and wine.
Here is the story:
Timur and Hafiz
The Sufi poet Hafiz of Shiraz wrote the famous poem:
‘If that Shirazi Turkish maid would take my heart into her hand:
I’d give her Bokhara for the mole upon her cheek – or Samarkand.’
The conqueror Tamerlane had Hafiz brought before him and said: ‘How can you give away Bukhara and Samarkand for a woman? Besides, they are in my own domains, and I shall not permit anyone to pretend that they are not!’
Hafiz said to him: ‘Your meanness may have given you power. My generosity has put me in your power. Your meanness is obviously more effective than my prodigality.’
Tamerlane laughed and let the Sufi go.

OH Turkish maid of Shiraz! in thy hand
If thou’lt take my heart, for the mole on thy cheek
I would barter Bokhara and Samarkand.
Bring, Cup-bearer, all that is left of thy wine!
In the Garden of Paradise vainly thou’lt seek
The lip of the fountain of Ruknabad,
And the bowers of Mosalla where roses twine.
