Fossil
I am a fossil of Paradise. Inextricable even for a fraction of moment. It is impossible.
It was very early in my life I heard the story of Yudhisthira who was untouchable by earth and earthling. He walked four fingers above earth surface. He alone made to paradise. He took very very long time to reach paradise. When he reached there, he found everyone else made to paradise long before him.
I have discussed days after days with my mother all the stories of Puranas, whenever I visited her. My mother later tried to procure some explanation and understanding in print form. They were very childish attempts. My brother kamal never participated in the discussion but did not give any merit to my exposition. Key to understand purana stories is the names of characters. They describe the very intrinsic characteristics of a person at the birth. One could explain all the puranas from the theory stated in Upanishads. There were two other persons who were interested in listening to me. My brother Gopal elder to Kamal. Masima who lived with him. She is still living about deaf and 95 years old.
Many aims in life pursued are disappointing aims. Either they result in failure or the goal is not worthwhile. Some make aim to be rich. Some aim to make a house. Some aim to be writer businessman etc. All are in the pursuit of failure; it does not matter how much they are lauded as success.
I pursued the aim of reaching paradise for 65 years. I wrote my daily progress from 1974 for 44 years. Last 11 years it is in internet and public. Earlier it was private; it was open wherever I lived. I also collected about 500 books and they travelled with me. I used to make bound 500 pages notebooks for my writings. I regularly destroyed them. Lot of people - my relations were very apprehensive about what I was doing. They used to perhaps read my writings and did not understand. My books were quite unreadable by many. Some borrowed them when I left them with Ma when I went to Bahrain. Many were in the pursuit of material successes in life. Exceptions were Kamal and Gopal.
In my professional life or in college, I was indifferent to success but devoted in reading. Success did not make any difference. I was recognized brilliant. I never took notes or worked to defeat others by making good score. In a short time I did all the Phd thesis work for Sajal. His paper was published in Econometrica; in a footnote he expressed indebtedness for useful discussions with me; although the entire content came from me. He even tricked two more papers out of it. Stating wrong theorem in the first paper. I showed him the obvious errors. He told me, that is how you make numbers. I have low opinion of Economics and Econometrics. It is all nonsense and lies. Money does not have mass, physical form property or gravity. Even NPL economists write non-sense entirely on analogy. They intellects are poor. I had worked in the past with one other Economist D Basu. We did some work for Narmada Sagar Dam Canal and Economic planning for the catchment area. Sajal's Econometric contribution ended with that paper. He still talks and writes nonsense. He is a Senior Professor now, presumably works in Social Economics Export Import etc. He is yet not bored and running after transient goal of success from self advertisement. I created some forums for discussions. I lost all interests. People looks for cheap route to transient successes. Their attempts are not acceptable.
Intuitively I knew that all the terrestrial goals are transient and false no matter how beneficial or tempting they may look. It is bound to be disaster and disappointment. I avoid them and keep no contact with any in the pursuit of the same.
The only goal that succeeds with no chance of failure is the goal of reaching paradise in one's life time. Others reach paradise only after their death.
My mother asked me many a time to write for public. She thought any writing in publicly accessible form - is written in granite and never lost. Fossil of paradise!
