Destination India
Though political parties trying to entice money flow to India, it is not happening to the extent they want it. Investor wishes return of investment. In fact they wish return of investment not in white but in black - unaccounted free without tax. Benefit for indians and India is employment and taxes on income from those employed. Successful business houses in India are them who understands this operation strategy. I am told 10 years of rule by Congress saw highest growth rate ever for India after independence.
I do not doubt it. Why that slowed down really. Indians or India is still dishonest and corrupt! More so now than ever before. Demonetization did not recover a single rupee of black money. On the other hand black money whatever became white. How? Indians are genius and magician when it is corruption. Attraction for investor in India is its vast population. If they can sell one soap bar to each Indian even if manufactured in India, it is lot of business.
USA is committed to capitalism. However all business corporation and Government dashed for Communist China while Mao was alive 60 years ago despite many concern about China's human rights. I have been told horrifying and adventurous travel to deep within China by white Americans in the corporate world. Chief attraction was vast population and profit. Discipline due to communism ensured productions are far cheaper than anywhere else in the world. Benefit US had over rest of the world is its consumer base with tremendous appetite for more. Its consumer provided the captive market of 50% of world products. Today in less than 50 years, China has become second largest economy on the way to be largest economy. There is almost no future for US supremacy in near future. US Corporations no longer attempts to build technology inconceivable in elsewhere. Instead US preference is making of internet toys.
Knowingly US corporations employ Indian educated substandard workforce to replace honest and hardworking US workforce to reduce expenditure. Strategy is still in place. In most Banks in US automated Financial Systems runs 60 years old software. They have not in many places updated their operating system in last 40 years. 90% of workforce are Indians, employed to do manual corrections rather than fixing errors of computing. Indians are employed in the corporate world knowing fully well their education is not adequate, More than 50% do not have valid education certificate and more than million do not have valid authorization to live in USA. The reason is that they are cheap and would not ever demand equality and they speak english. The other day an old friend of mine called me up telling me his business has about collapsed. 30 of his employees were sent back because he could not renew their H1B work visa. While more than million indian employed in corporate world do not have any work visa or papers. They do not even pay income tax. They buy property. All is unaccounted. They are known to US immigration authorities, yet ICE do not act knowingly. Very big corporation like Microsoft Google Facebook Apple Amazon ... employ them!
I painted this picture above to tell that India's progress in honesty is downward as we multiplied to become 1.3 billion. The vast population in Delhi capital is immigrants from Bangladesh. Over 5 million who work in households are from Bangladesh without papers and they do not have bank accounts. They do all odd jobs from car wash to road cleaning to household job in each and every household in Delhi region. They live in Jhuggi and Basti. Delhi among other places in India known as rape city. There is no law or order. Our supreme court judges are facing corruption allegations. Bribe has become more expensive in last few years as Delhi has taken the top spot as most polluted city of the world.
Yet for many centuries people from all over the world making trips to India in search of God knowing fully well the horrible inhuman Indian condition of living. It is their personal search for paradise. They do not go any other place in the world but only India! They do find something worthwhile in India. When it comes to self search, India is Mecca of the world!
Very rare kind of flower of paradise grows in the Himalayas and not anywhere else in the world. You cannot miss them if you undertake some trips to higher region of Himalayas - Gomukh, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Amarnath.....
Puranas live in the dust and air of India. Their fragrance has spread all over the world even in Alaska Africa Antartica.... Flowers of paradise are born only in India and nowhere else in the world....Puranas are the reason
