I do not like cloud computing.
It is again as usual money making technology promising a lot but achieving nothing.
We have today everyone owning a smartphone. As is all these shall be used to achieve some work otherwise needed to be performed by computer at home or otherwise.
I for example spend lot of time on my computer for developing software or ideas. For developing software I do not use cloud. It is extremely inconvenient. I have to spend quite a few minutes for any kind of interaction even testing. Further it is so microscopic achievement. Without any complete view of what is required.
Several months back I examined in detail GDPR software developed with 300 man years efforts by IBM. They even hoped to sell it many companies operating in EU.
In a nutshell the product is unusable for any company if their clientbase exceeds 10000. Inorder to use it - it shall need 10000 man hours. It is so costly. For IBM - they have already had spent 300 man years and they were nowhere near to gather more than 1000 clients in their database of personal information. They estimated the clientbase to be 2 million. It is a hoax. How would they manage?
Ever since I have received seeking my permission to use my personal data was mass email campaign as terms and conditions by many companies - Microsoft Yahoo Facebook etc. I did not care. I am a US citizen. Personal Information is matter of hoax in US. My personal information has been lost intimated to me about 6 times.
I am using Google. This Blog belongs to them. They are so greatly established in Publicly Traded Share Market, only proves that it has patronage from all the lawmakers in US. US defense perhaps think that it is safety against the whole world.
US for longtime preferred their own ruin than their prosperity. Can you believe the president of US hand over knees begging Putin to support him! He is a puppet.
We have seen not long ago US gave away technology advancement to China in every sphere of technology dominance. They are sure to bypass US dominance in aircraft ship making travel infrastructure medicine food and drugs. While every infrastructure that we had is about closed if not already dead.
We have really petered away our technology advancement if we really adopt cloud as our computing infrastructure. By legislation we must have shutdown of usage of handheld devices. Only few years back I only received a dozen emails and they are several hundreds now every day. I spend every month several days how to stop receiving email. Even when I opt out I get bombarded. My information in gmail is in public domain. It is being done at the source.
I cannot believe the situation is going to change in future in my lifetime. It is my privilege to be US citizen.
